I may be biased, but the consensus opinion is that, while having one will raise hell, having two is pure sonic Armageddon. Check out the >Muffwiggler.com forum thread< Scroll down to the bottom of page one. ; )

| The Plague Bearer in eurorack format. Each module is fully tested and assembled. Panels are 0.062”/1.6mm photo-anodized aluminum, stainless steel M3×6.0 mounting screws included. As with the original PB, the jacks are wired in pairs for added flexibility. These use the same PCB as the PB Barebones Pack (PBBP), so you can choose either Doepfer- or Blacet-style power connectors. Since these are eurorack format, the default is the Doepfer A-100 10-pin power connector (5-pin SIP, one side of the Doepfer 10-pin), but the board has mounting holes for the standard Blacet 4-pin connector.
The current price is discounted from the intended price due to a slight error in the front panels – a file conversion error shifted some of the pot holes and graphics, so they’re a bit wonky. The above images show the error if you look real close; click on the picture for the big size. Specs:
The modules have one difference from the PBBP, the output has been raised to 10Vpp to comply with output standards. There are also a couple small kludges ( to steal a term from Ray Wilson ) to fix the popping at power-on. These will be corrected in the next boards. The manual for the PBBP applies to these as well. One specific to the modules is on its way. As always, special requests are welcome. These may or may not have an impact on the price, depending upon what is involved. A popular request is to leave the pots off of the board for custom mounting arrangements. |
